Sugar cookies/Biscuits

Eggless Sugar cookies

Level:   Moderate
Yield:    25 cookies



Ingredients

¾ cup All Purpose Flour
¾ cup Confectioners Sugar
¼ cup Corn Starch
½ cup Butter
¼ tsp. Salt

Instructions

In a bowl shift flour, cornstarch and salt and mix well.
In another large bowl mix butter and confectioners sugar until light and fluffy cream.
Gradually add the flour mixture to creamed mixture and mix well
Preheat oven to 350°. Roll into 1-in. balls and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake 25-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Buttermilk Biscuits

Buttermilk Biscuits

Total time: 30 mins.
Level:   Easy
Yield:   18-20 Biscuits





Ingredients
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting the board
1 tbsp. Baking powder
½ tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
6 tbsp. Butter
1 cup Buttermilk (approx.)
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp. Garlic powder
For brushing on top
1tbsp. Butter

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F.
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl
Grate the cold butter into the flour mixture.
Gently mix the flour until it resembles course meal.
Add the buttermilk and mix just until combined.
If it appears on the dry side, add a bit more buttermilk. It should be very wet.
Turn the dough out onto a floured board.
Gently, gently PAT (do NOT roll with a rolling pin) the dough out until it's about 1/2" thick. Fold the dough about 5 times; gently press the dough down to a 1-inch thick.
Use a round cutter to cut into rounds.
Place the biscuits on a cookie sheet- put them about 1 inch apart- these will not raise as high as the biscuits put close together.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes the biscuits will be a beautiful light golden brown on top and bottom.
Brush generously with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
Serve hot.

Pizza

Pizza

Ingredients

2 ¼ tsp. active dry yeast
2 cups all purpose flour
¾ cup warm water
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. sea salt


Instructions

In a small bowl, add warm water and dissolve yeast. Let it stand about 10 minutes until creamy.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all purpose flour, olive oil, salt, honey and the yeast mixture, stir well to combine. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Lightly oil a large mixing bowl, place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat with oil. Cover and put in a warm place to rise until doubled in volume; about 1 hour
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F [220 degree C].
Divide dough into two separate balls and roll into thin and desired shape. Pierce the crust all around with fork.
Cover with sauce and your favorite toppings and bake in preheated oven until golden brown or 12-18 minutes.

Refrigerate any leftovers.

Banana Bread/Cake



Banana Bread/Cake

Ingredients
1 Banana
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 tsp. Vinegar
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tbsp. Coco powder
1 cup Flour
½ cup butter
1 cup Condensed milk
½ cup milk (room temperature)
¼ cup Chopped Walnuts
¼ cup Chopped Chocolate



Instructions
1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
2. In a bowl beat together butter, condensed milk and banana.
3. Add 2-tablespoon sugar, vanilla extract and vinegar and beat adding little milk at a time.
4. Sift together the flour, coco powder, baking powder and baking soda.
5. Slowly add the flour mixture and beat after each addition until all of the flour is incorporated. Then add Chopped Walnuts and Chopped Chocolate.
6. Lightly grease a cake-baking tray with cooking spray.
7. Pour batter into the tray and spread evenly to level.
8. Place in the preheated oven and let it bake for about 30-35 minutes.
9. Then remove the cake from the oven, check for doneness using a toothpick and carefully transfer to the cooling rack.
10. Sprinkle with some powdered sugar or decorate with desired toppings and serve.
