Ingredients
2 ¼ tsp. active dry yeast
2 cups all purpose flour
¾ cup warm water
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. sea salt
Instructions
In a small bowl, add warm water and dissolve yeast. Let it stand
about 10 minutes until creamy.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all purpose flour, olive oil,
salt, honey and the yeast mixture, stir well to combine. Knead until smooth and
elastic, about 8 minutes. Lightly oil a large mixing bowl, place the dough in
the bowl and turn to coat with oil. Cover and put in a warm place to rise until
doubled in volume; about 1 hour
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F [220 degree C].
Divide dough into two separate balls and roll into thin and
desired shape. Pierce the crust all around with fork.
Cover with sauce and your favorite toppings and bake in
preheated oven until golden brown or 12-18 minutes.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
