Easy Eggless Cake

Easy Eggless Cake

Prep Time: 5 min   
Cooking Time: 4hr
Level:   Moderate
Yield:   12 serving



Ingredients

For Cake
1 ½ Cups flour (all-purpose)
¼ Cup cocoa (unsweetened)
1 Cup sugar  
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 
5 Tbsp. vegetable oil 
1 Cup hot water 

For Frosting
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream/coconut cream{for vegan}
2 tbsp. Powder Sugar





Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa.
In a cup/bowl add water, vegetable oil, vinegar, vanilla and mix.
Then combine both dry and wet ingredients. Mix well until smooth.
Immediately pour batter into a well-greased baking pan (9x13 inch). Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35-40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
For Frosting:
In the mixing bowl add whipping cream and sugar. Whisk just until the cream reaches stiff peaks.
Let the cake to cool down to room temperature (3hr), then spread the frosting over cake and decorate the cake with berries.

Tip:
1.Make a well in the dry ingredients, and then gently pour wet ingredients into the center.
Stir the dry ingredients (flour, leavening, salt, spices) together. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently push the dry ingredients against the sides of the bowl to make a well.
2.Store any unused portion in an airtight container for up to 10 hours. When ready to use, whisk again for 10 to 15 seconds.

Masala Tea

                        Masala Tea

Level:   Easy
Yield:   Serves 2



                              
Ingredients
½ cup water
3-4 teaspoons sugar
3 whole cardamom pod
3 whole clove
4 black peppercorns
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 teaspoons black tea leaves
1 ½ cup milk



Instructions
In a saucepan add water and add all ingredients expect milk.
Mix it and bring to boil for 2-3mins.
Then add milk mix it and bring to boil in slow heat.
After 5-7mins. Strain into a cup.

Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter Masala


Prep Time: 11-15 min   
Cooking Time: 26-30 min
Level:   Moderate
Yield:   Serves 4-5




Ingredients

1 ½ cup Paneer (cottage cheese) cut cubes
4-5 tbsp. Butter 
4 tsp. Oil 
2 Bay leaves 
2 cardamom
1 medium Onion sliced 
2 tsp. Ginger paste 
2 tsp. Garlic paste 
1 tsp. Red chilli powder 
1 tsp. Garam masala powder
1 tsp. Roasted cumin seed powder
5-6 medium Tomatoes chopped
4-5 cashews
Salt to taste
½ tsp. Kasturi methi crushed 
¼ cup Fresh cream 



Instructions

Heat a pan with oil, fry onions they turn transparent.
Fry tomatoes for 3-4mins, till the mixture turns soft.
Blend onions, tomatoes mixture with soaked cashews into smooth paste.
Heat a pan with oil add Bay leaves and cardamom and fry add butter add ginger-garlic paste fry until raw smell disappears.
Pour blended puree, add salt, red chilli powder, Garam masala powder, Roasted cumin powder and add ½ water and mix.
Add paneer and crushed Kasoori/kasturi methi. Stir well and cook for 3-4mins.
Then garnish with cream and coriander leaves and serve with roti/naan or rice.
