Ash White Gourd Halwa

Ingredients
4 cups grated ash gourd
1½ cups sugar
¼ tsp. crushed cardamom
½ cup mixed dry fruits (Raisins, cashews,
almonds, pistachios)
2 tbsp. ghee (clarified butter)
Instructions
Take a deep bottom non-stick
pan, add the grated ash
gourd in medium heat cook until all the water evaporates.
Add the sugar, stir continuously and until
the mixture starts to leave the sides of pan.
Now heat 2 tbsp. Ghee in a pan, add dry
fruits and fry in medium heat till they turn golden color.
Add the cardamom powder and fried dry fruits;
mix properly until they blend well.Switch off the flame and serve hot or chilled.
