Vegetable Puff


Vegetable Puff

Yield:   20 small puffs

 Ingredients

2 tsp. oil
½ tsp. mustered seeds
½ tsp. cumin seeds
4-5 curry leaves
½ tsp. garam masala powder
½ tsp. chili powder
¼ cup onion , chopped
¼ cup carrots, peeled and cubed into ½ inch pieces
¼ cup beans, cut into ½ inch pieces
¾ cup potato, peeled, diced and boiled
¼ cup tomato , chopped
¼ chopped fresh coriander/cilantro leaves
salt to taste

Instructions

Take a non-stick pan add oil in medium heat.
Add mustered seeds, cumin seeds when they crackles, add curry leaves and onion fry for 2min.
Add carrots, beans and potato fry for 5min.
Now add tomato, garam masal powder, chili powder  and salt mix it.
Cover it and cook for 15 min. (add water if  necessary)
After 15min turn off the heat add coriander/cilantro leaves give it one more mix.
Preheat oven for 415 F.
Thaw the puff pastry sheet
Cut the puff pastry into rectangle or square shape
Scoop the vegetable mix and place it on one side of the rectangle and fold other side above it. Seal the edges.
Or cut into small squares place the veg mix one square and another square above it.   
Place them a baking sheet.
Bake for 20min. or till golden brown color
Serve it hot.
